The site
In Gironde, in the Libournais region. Saint-Seurin sur l'Isle, on the borders of Saint-Emilion.
The vineyard
21 hectares, all in one piece, managed using sustainable viticulture practices. The old vines are over 50 years old, the average age is around 25 years.
The ground
An alternation of gravel and fine sand with a layer of clay in the subsoil, promoting optimal drainage.
The grape harvest and winemaking
Harvesting is carried out plot by plot at optimal ripeness and according to the characteristics of the micro-terroirs. After a cold pre-fermentation maceration, vinification is carried out selectively, with a complementarity between wooden and cement vats.
The assembly
Merlot: 60%. Cabernet Franc: 30%. Cabernet Sauvignon: 10%.
Aging
12 months in French oak barrels.
