The grapes come from vines aged 15 to 20 years. A slow, controlled, plot-by-plot vinification, with rigorous temperature control, allows for optimal extraction of the components from the berries, which are sorted at the time of fermentation. Vinification in tanks preserves the authenticity of the fruit and its natural aromas. Aged for twelve months in concrete tanks.
The site
In Gironde, in the Libournais region.
The vineyard
Cultivated using sustainable viticulture practices. The old vines are over 50 years old, the average age is around 25 years.
The ground
An alternation of gravel and fine sand with a layer of clay in the subsoil, promoting optimal drainage.
